Welcome to ASEAN Young Socialpreneurs Program 2015

Coming up with the idea of integration, ASEAN Community is essentially a regional development agenda to promote mutual understanding and common responsibility as Southeast Asian Nations through regional economic integration. Currently, there are 75 million youth unemployed globally and 40 per cent of them is in the Asia and Pacific Region. This will affects the economic stability and society welfare in ASEAN region. ASEAN nowadays is full of business idea. However only few of them are willing to concern in social responsibility. Therefore, following this concern, Global Engagement Office, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Gadjah Mada initiates ASEAN Young Social Preneurs Program.

ASEAN Young Social Preneurs Program (AYSPP) is a set of activities to provide deep understanding and support initiatives of student and youth around ASEAN countries, related to social-enterpreneurship and its role to foster ASEAN Economic Community 2015. This program consists of Social Enterpreneurship Competition (business plan), Workshop on Social Enterpreneurship, Lecture on ASEAN, Excursion, as well as Cultural Activities.

We, Global Engagement Office Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Gadjah Mada are currently publishing our official information media for you, young ASEAN social preneurs, who are willing to develop your business yet overcoming social problems around yourself. This event will be held in Yogyakarta in the middle of September, 2015. We will be glad to collect your brilliant ideas all around ASEAN, start from the second week of this June. Therefore, the committee will keep you update with the information of registration gradually through this official website.
