Today, the execution of AYSPP entered the third day with two main agendas, namely the company visit and also the implementation of a social business competition attended by twenty semi-finalists from all over ASEAN. There were absolutely no significant obstacles encountered today, so that the implementation of the two agendas was counted smoothly.

The activity held on September 17, 2017 began with an announcement regarding the rules and format of the race that would be implemented in the semi-finals. After that, it continued with breakfast and mobilization of participants towards the first company visit location, namely Mandiri Craft by the Independent Disabled Foundation. Mandiri Craft is a wooden handicraft business that is produced and managed by people with disabilities to help people with disabilities to stay productive. From this place, participants learned how to manage a business by integrating social issues in the business center.

While at the second company visit location, ViaVia, participants learned a lot about sustainability. The theme of sustainability can not only be applied to the surrounding environment, but also to the management of their business so that it is not only short-lived, but can provide results for a long time and sustainably. Both from Mandiri Craft and ViaVia, participants were asked to use the knowledge learned from the two visits in the presentation that will be carried out by each team in the semi-finals.

After returning to the hotel and having lunch, participants immediately began judging the semi-final stage in the form of a closed presentation. The judges present included:

1. Jonathan Chang (Executive Director of Lien Center for Social Innovation, Singapore Management University)
2. Susli Lie (Head of Investments,  YCAB Foundation)
3. Drs. Hendrie Adji Kusworo, M.Sc., Ph.D (Lecturer, Social Welfare and Development FISIPOL UGM)

Twenty teams of participants took turns in presenting their presentations well, however, there was a change in the added time allocation to accommodate question and answer sessions with the judges. This question and answer session was proven to be able to help the judges in the assessment and provide feedback on each party. At the end of the judging, all participants were gathered to hear the closing from each judge.

Ms. Susli in her closing speech said that the majority of the team forgot to mention why their solution was the best, so the team should have understood and mentioned the sustainability of their respective teams. While Jonathan Chang urged the participants to keep calculating expenditure costs better as one of the important elements. Drs. Hendri Adji then closed the evening program with his suggestion to integrate social issues with their business in order to remain in their sociopreneur path.
