This volunteering activity was held in two elementary schools, they were SD Negeri Suroloyo and SD Negeri Madigondo, Kulon Progo. They event beganby briefing led by Kelas Inspirasi, and the warming welcome by the teachers along with Kelas Inspirasi, as well. Before they jumped right in the first program, the participant introduced themselves to the teachers and students, and then they sang along with the students, too; they were separated into two groups. They held the first program for 30 minutes where the participants were introducing some countries in the world, especially ASEAN to the children, then 15 minutes for break, and the last program lasted for 45 minutes, which was an outdoor activity called team building game. In the class, the participants also gave the students awareness about the importance of learning English, one of them was the fact that english is essential if they want to build good communications with the international citizen or foreigners.
Company Visit: Agradaya
Participants and committee from ASEAN Young Socialpreneurs Program (AYSPP) held a company visit to Agradaya on 11 November 2019. The activity includes a short presentation about Agradaya, visiting Agradaya’s production house, going around Agradaya’s small garden, and also tea cupping session. The short presentation explained about how Agradaya tries to create a sustainable agriculture which focuses on spices and medicinal herbs using four points of sustainability; people, planet, process, and product. The participants learned about how to identify business challenges and problems. They were also introduced to business scheme and business adaptations that can answer said challenges and problems. As a social enterprise, Agradaya collaborates with local farmers in their production process in order to empower them and also improve their welfare. Agradaya also uses natural farming methods and renewable techonology to manufacture their products. After the presentation session ended, the participants were invited to go to the Agradaya production house and its packaging room. There was also a small tour that took the participants to visit the Agradaya small garden which consisted of planted crops, fruits, and herbs. Finally, participants were asked to taste Agradaya’s blend tea products. In conclusion, the participants learned about how to create a collaborative and sustainable business model from Agradaya company visit.
Relawan-Kelas Inspirasi Yogyakarta
Kegiatan sukarela ini diadakan di dua sekolah dasar, yaitu SD Negeri Suroloyo dan SD Negeri Madigondo, Kulon Progo. Acara mereka dimulai dengan pengarahan yang dipimpin oleh Kelas Inspirasi, dan sambutan hangat dari para guru bersama dengan Kelas Inspirasi. Sebelum mereka melompat tepat di program pertama, peserta memperkenalkan diri kepada para guru dan siswa, dan kemudian mereka bernyanyi bersama dengan siswa juga; mereka dipisahkan menjadi dua kelompok. Mereka mengadakan program pertama selama 30 menit di mana para peserta memperkenalkan beberapa negara di dunia, terutama ASEAN kepada anak-anak, kemudian 15 menit untuk istirahat, dan program terakhir berlangsung selama 45 menit, yang merupakan kegiatan di luar ruangan yang disebut permainan membangun tim. Di kelas, para peserta juga memberikan kesadaran siswa tentang pentingnya belajar bahasa Inggris, salah satunya adalah fakta bahwa bahasa Inggris sangat penting jika mereka ingin membangun komunikasi yang baik dengan warga internasional atau orang asing.
Kunjungan Perusahaan: Agradaya
Peserta dan panitia dari Program Young Socialpreneurs ASEAN (AYSPP) mengadakan kunjungan perusahaan ke Agradaya pada tanggal 11 November 2019. Kegiatan ini meliputi presentasi singkat tentang Agradaya, mengunjungi rumah produksi Agradaya, berkeliling di kebun kecil Agradaya, dan juga sesi minum teh. Presentasi singkat menjelaskan tentang bagaimana Agradaya mencoba menciptakan pertanian berkelanjutan yang berfokus pada rempah-rempah dan tanaman obat menggunakan empat titik keberlanjutan; orang, planet, proses, dan produk. Para peserta belajar tentang bagaimana mengidentifikasi tantangan dan masalah bisnis. Mereka juga diperkenalkan dengan skema bisnis dan adaptasi bisnis yang dapat menjawab tantangan dan masalah tersebut. Sebagai perusahaan sosial, Agradaya bekerja sama dengan petani lokal dalam proses produksinya untuk memberdayakan mereka dan juga meningkatkan kesejahteraan mereka. Agradaya juga menggunakan metode pertanian alami dan teknologi terbarukan untuk memproduksi produk mereka. Setelah sesi presentasi berakhir, para peserta diundang untuk pergi ke rumah produksi Agradaya dan ruang pengemasannya. Ada juga tur kecil yang membawa para peserta untuk mengunjungi kebun kecil Agradaya yang terdiri dari tanaman, buah-buahan, dan tanaman herbal. Akhirnya, peserta diminta untuk mencicipi produk teh campuran Agradaya. Sebagai kesimpulan, para peserta belajar tentang cara membuat model bisnis yang kolaboratif dan berkelanjutan dari kunjungan perusahaan Agradaya.
